The Tiddlywink Factory, by Ollie Owl

I'm the owner of a tiddlywink factory, I have millions of
tiddlywinks that are colored blue. I'm in competition
with another tiddlywink factory who's tiddlywinks are
colored red. The other factory wants to run me out of
business. He sends his lobbyist to congress, where
they make donations to individual campaign funds. The
congress makes a law where all tiddlywinks must be
colored red. The cost of changing the color of my
tiddlywinks and the rising cost of labor is too exorbitant.
So my only option is to close my tiddlywink factory and
lay off all the employees.

After my tiddlywink factory has been closed, my competitor
closes his factory and moves the operation overseas to
take advantage of the cheap labor and the lower cost
for materials. After laying off all of his employees, he then
again sends his lobbyist in to have the trade agreements
changed to his advantage. He makes huge profits and transfers
them overseas to a tax haven to avoid paying higher personal
taxes in this country.

Since millions of employees are without jobs, he is
losing profits that he thinks he should have. Again
he sends his lobbyists in and has a law passed that will
give him tax payers funds that he feels will make up for
the profits he has lost. When he receives these funds
he transfers these funds to his tax havens overseas.

The Financial Interests work this way as well.

The phone rang early last Tuesday morning informing us
of a missing child in the area. As an ex law enforcement
officer, I knew the procedures for the search of a missing
person. At my age and my physical condition, I knew I
would only be in the way. I searched in our area to no
avail. The only thing I could do was cry and pray.

With the outpouring of love from her family, officials,
neighbors, caring strangers and the news media, it
reminded me of a song I heard when I was a child.
It was in the early 1950's during a charity marathon
on the cure for Polio. In 1955, Dr. Jonas Sauk
discovered a vaccine for polio. Prayers are
answered.

Howcome I get the feeling that most of the tax money for
the new health insurance bill will eventually go to Congress's
favorite charity, themselves?

The American voters are now getting what they asked for; but, not what
they wanted. i.e. Geitner, Daschle, etc. The only change in the new
administration we will see are the faces. The Motto for the new
administration is the same as the previous administrations with one
minor change: "The fool and his money(what little is left) will soon
be parted".

With a grandson who suffers from Asthma, I make everyone go
outside the house to smoke, including myself. When watching a
television program, I wait until the commercials come on to go
outside and smoke. During the recent Superbowl, I waited until
there was a lull during play to go outside and smoke so that I
could watch the commercials. Most Pro Football games are
decided in the final two minutes, that's when I really watch.

I noticed that this year's commercials had more sexual content,
violence, destruction and foreign products to hype.

I guess with the down turn in the economy, companies need to
resort to this to sell their products. To me, it shows the current
mentality of the American people.

The Sti-humongous Relief Package is nothing more than throwing billions
of dollars into a leaking boat, that will eventually sink. Of course, the
Big Financial Interests will ensure the hole in the boat will be enlarged
and they will be there in their big yachts to scoop up the floating tax
money. Who is to blame for this? We the voters are for sending
the same old "Rip Off" crowd back to Congress. "Wake up America".
They're not even bothering to kiss us while they are raping us.
There is no difference between a Democrat, Republican or a so
called Independent, they are all "United" to divide the American
people.
